Today I got the notification from Youtube that my account has been suspended due to community guidelines infractions. This means that all the videos (more than 100) are not visible anymore. This is not a big surprise, as I had videos marked as inappropriate many times and I noticed an increasing trend on conservative rules. I tried to keep the most explicit videos away from there but obviously wasn’t enough and finally it happened.
An appeal is in course but I do not have any hope it will be restored. I am saddened to see it go, because I kept that account for more than 10 years, and is what maintained this blog active for many years, there are videos that I don’t have the originals anymore and might be lost forever.
Facebook, Xtube, Blogger had banned me in the past, I am really tired of this race against censorship, I don’t think that what I do is that crazy for deserving this. I ended up paying my own hosting to be able to keep it running for a thing that does not give anything to me other than the joy of knowing other like to watch it, but still, difficult to know as also feedback has almost disappeared.
Also, this happens in a bad moment because this blog is only a few months shy to celebrate its 10th anniversary, and this will force to put some ideas on hold and will make the continuation of the blog uncertain until an alternative can be found… and my motivation restored.
Until a solution is found, the videos won’t be visible. My apologies for the inconvenience.
